Chair of Technical Dynamics
Head of Chair: Secretariat: |
Vibration theory and technical dynamics include modeling, calculation, identification and optimization of mechanical solid-state models with respect to transient processes. The domain can be subdivided into machine dynamics with a focus on multi-body modeling and structural dynamics with a focus on finite element modeling. Since the use of analytical, numerical and experimental methods is largely appropriate for the solution of concrete tasks and the material properties are of particular importance in structural engineering, there is close cooperation with the other chairs and working groups of the Institute of Mechanics.
